At least three people have died after a boat carrying more than 40 migrants sank in the English Channel on Wednesday.
The British Coast Guard received a warning that a small vessel was in distress around 3:00 am.
According to the news agency, lifeboats, helicopters and rescue teams participated in the rescue operations, and 43 people were rescued as a result of the combined efforts of the French and British navies. Reuters.
