The National Federation of Physicians (Fnam) will mark the sector’s complaints on Tuesday with a protest initiative ahead of a World Health Organization symposium in Porto.
From 8:00 to 10:00, doctors promise to hold a “flashmob” in defense of the “dignity” of a medical career and the future of the National Health Service (NHS).
“We are especially targeting the foreign ministers who were present at the event, as well as the Portuguese government and Health Minister Dr. Manuel Pizarro, to give them a wake-up call to give up their stubbornness and have the courage to bring in doctors. “proposals in the SNS so that all citizens of Portugal can have access to universal, quality and promising public health services,” the federation said in a statement.
