The future ruler of Brazil will take office on January 1, 2023, until December 31, 2026.
The list of foreign leaders who have already confirmed their presence at the inauguration of Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva was announced by Brazilian Ambassador Fernando Igreja at a press conference and includes German Presidents Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Angola Joao Lorenzo of Argentina, Alberto Fernandez, of Bolivia Luis Arce and José Maria Neves from Cape Verde.
The heads of state of Chile, Gabriel Boric, Colombia, Gustavo Petro, Ecuador, Guillermo Lasso, Guyana, Irfaan Ali, Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoko Embalo, Paraguay, Mario Abdo Benítez, Suriname, also confirmed their presence Chan Santohi of Timor-Leste , José Ramos-Horta of Uruguay, Luis Alberto Lacalle Pou of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa and King Felipe VI of Spain.

In response to a question, the Brazilian ambassador said the United States has not yet confirmed who will represent the country at Lula da Silva’s inauguration ceremony.
If this number is confirmed, it will be the inauguration of the Brazilian ruler with the participation of more foreign heads of state.
The inauguration of the incumbent Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro on January 1, 2019 was attended by the Presidents of Portugal, Paraguay, Cape Verde, Honduras, Uruguay, Bolivia and the Prime Ministers of Israel, Hungary and Morocco.
