According to the Rolling Stones, quoted by the Associated Press, “Hackney may be at the center of Hackney Diamonds, but this is a truly global moment that we want to share with fans around the world via YouTube.”
The implementation of this announcement followed a campaign that featured the band’s logo in several cities such as New York and Paris and the launch of a dedicated “website” for the album.
