This Saturday, FC Porto expressed solidarity with those affected by the earthquake that rocked Morocco on Friday, leaving at least 1,037 people dead and more than 1,200 injured.
“FC Porto stands in solidarity with everyone affected by the earthquake in Morocco. We express our sincere condolences to the families of the victims,” the blue-and-white club says on social networks.
On Friday, at 23:11 local time (same time in Lisbon), an earthquake measuring 6.9 on the Richter scale with its epicenter in the city of Igil, 63 kilometers southwest of the city of Marrakech, killed at least 1,037 and more people. More than 1,200 were injured, according to Morocco’s Interior Ministry.
