The head of the British government met Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang on the sidelines of the G20 summit in New Delhi, India, and expressed his “deep concerns about Chinese interference in British parliamentary democracy” after it was revealed that a young man serving in the Westminster Parliament was arrested for espionage in March.
According to The Sunday Times, in March, British authorities detained two parliamentary staff on charges of violating the Official Secrets Act and allegedly spying for China.
