The man, along with other workers, was working in the pavilion to dismantle the company’s materials when the accident occurred at 17:00.
Firefighters from Caldas da Rainha and INEM carried out resuscitation efforts, and a helicopter was even used to transport the victim to the hospital department.
However, the victim did not survive his serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by an INEM doctor. 15 operators took part in the rescue operations.
