“I’ll kill your dog,” the soldier told the churros owner. After the threat, he shot three times and fled the scene without providing assistance to the animal. Everything was observed by three children who accompanied the dog’s owner on a walk.

The soldier was accused of cruelty to animals and then sent to the Guarapari detention center. He was released without bail on Sunday. There are currently some measures in place against him, including a ban on the use of firearms.
