UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres confirmed this Wednesday that he will meet next week during the General Assembly with the presidents of Ukraine, Turkey and the head of Russian diplomacy Sergei Lavrov.
At a press conference in New York, Guterres said that at meetings with Vladimir Zelensky, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Lavrov, he would discuss the Black Sea Grain Agreement, which was suspended by Moscow’s decision.
“Next week I will receive President Zelensky, President Erdogan and Minister Lavrov and, obviously, this issue (grain agreement) will be on the table of our discussions,” said the leader of the United Nations (UN).
The former Prime Minister of Portugal stressed that he would meet separately with each of these leaders.
