A fire broke out in the restaurant Guilty by Olivier, owned by a famous chef, located near the Marques de Pombal, in Lisbon, early this Saturday morning at 00:45.
Despite the ensuing panic, all people were safely removed from the premises, and no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
For what CM As it turned out, the fire started in a column and eventually spread to the ceiling of the building.
TO CMThe restaurant explained that the fire started after a customer wished the guest a happy birthday.
Olivier’s employees attempted to put out the flames, but it was the firefighters who brought the fire under control.
“Some clients who were in the bathroom at the time were waiting for the firefighters to go outside. They were always safe, protected by the hallway that precedes the bathrooms and fire doors,” the restaurant explains.
There were 26 militants at the scene, supported by nine vehicles.
