This Sunday, a shellfish harvester fell from a four-meter-high cliff near Magoito beach in the São João das Lampas area of Sintra.
The alarm came at 10:25. The 34-year-old victim was rescued by the Sintra fire brigade using ropes.
An aircraft and a NCIS vessel were called, but this was not necessary. The man was taken to Amadora Sintra Hospital with a dislocated shoulder and several bruises.
