Braganca’s Public Security Police (PSP) have arrested five people for drug trafficking, a security source said.
In a statement, the PSP said that the detainees, living in the municipality of Braganca, are one woman and four men aged between 39 and 49 years.
In the same statement, PSP explains that the investigation continued for several months. The culmination was a police operation in the city of Bragança, which took place from 18:00 Tuesday to 11:00 today.
The PSP also said that several doses of heroin in an unspecified quantity, €60 in cash, a telephone and materials related to drug trafficking, namely cutting and packaging materials and precision scales, were seized.
Now the detainees will appear in court to learn about possible enforcement measures.
