The Carris Metropolitana bus hit four people this Friday at 14:51 at the Gar do Oriente station in Lisbon.
The car was still unlocked and crashed into a traffic stop with three occupants inside. Two serious injuries, including trauma, were reported and one juvenile suffered a panic attack. One of the victims was taken to the San Jose hospital, two to the Santa Maria hospital.
An official source in the fire regiment confirmed the incident.
“We can say that there are three victims who require various types of assistance,” the same source said.
Alsa Todi, according to an official source, has not yet committed to say that the bus did not have brakes. The driver remains in a state of shock without making any statements.
There are 13 firefighters and three Sapadores and PSP fire trucks on the scene.
