Five people were evacuated from their homes due to flooding in Baixa de Frielas, municipality of Loures, which was also hit by falling trees, without any casualties.

The Vila Nova de Famalicão hospital was flooded, meaning physiotherapy and rehabilitation appointments were cancelled. The imaging service was also affected.
VISEU PARKS
Aquilino Ribeiro Park and Mata do Fontelo in Viseu were closed due to the risk to passersby of large trees possibly falling due to the wind.
LOURINHA ESTRADAS
The Civil Protection of Lourinhas closed several sections of national roads crossing the municipality to traffic due to heavy rain.
COIMBRA SCHOOL IS CLOSING
Escola Básica (EB) 1 Quinta das Flores in Coimbra was closed as a precaution after flooding, leaving more than 200 students without classes, a local council source said.
