A fall from a paraglider caused minor injuries to a passenger early Friday morning. The incident occurred at 12:00 on the NATO road in Fonte da Telha, Almada municipality.
The victim was descending when he entered turbulence and ended up lowering the wing too much. He fell from a height of about five meters and his back hurt.
As he told CM According to the Civil Protection Service of the Setúbal Peninsula, assistance was difficult because the victim was in an inaccessible area.
The injured man was safely taken to hospital where he will be examined to see if he has any broken bones.
15 operatives were mobilized, supported by five vehicles.
