A man missing at sea for two weeks has been found alive in a lifeboat 70 miles northwest of Cape Flattery, Washington, USA.
The man had not been seen since October 12, the day the fishing boat he was on, along with another man, left Grays Harbor, Washington.
“The fact that he was on that lifeboat for days, holding on to hope, and that he was eventually found by a fishing boat was incredible and miraculous,” a United States Coast Guard spokesman said. Steve Strohmaier CNN International.
On October 15, the US Coast Guard received a warning about the disappearance of a fishing vessel this Tuesday. The unsuccessful search was called off Wednesday after “teams searched more than 14,000 square miles for more than 8 hours,” the report said. CNN International.
The US Coast Guard continues to investigate the case as one of the men on the vessel remains missing. New searches have not yet been confirmed.
