Dozens of employees of the disappeared Foreigners and Borders Service (SEF), which this Sunday at 00:00 gave way to the Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA), go to work today, not yet knowing where they will be stationed.
ABOUT CM You know that these are mainly administrative workers. Housed in the former headquarters of the SEF, in the Tagus Park, in Oeiras, they received no instructions from above as to where they should position themselves and what their future functions would be. All of them are to be absorbed by AIMA, which will operate under the Ministry of the Presidency and whose headquarters location has not yet been disclosed. Remember that at the time of dissolution, SEF had 1,078 employees. 789 inspectors were posted in other security forces such as the PSP, GNR and the Judicial Police.
