A hooded man robbed a gas station store with a shotgun on Saturday night in Seia. The robber entered the premises with a gun drawn and threatened employees and customers. He fled in a car in an unknown direction.
At around 11:30 pm, GNR Gouveia was alerted to an armed robbery at a service area gas station in Seia.
The GNR launched a manhunt. The amount stolen by the service area management has not yet been disclosed.
The Fiat Punto used in the escape appears to have been stolen and had false registration numbers. The license plates used match a car that was stolen on November 2 in Valpasos. The car used in the robbery was also involved in a hit-and-run in Braganza, also in a service area. The judicial police were called to the scene.
