Perseverance Ncube, 35, was found with stab wounds to her chest in the early hours of Friday by her two young children in Little Hulton, Salford, in the United Kingdom. He had to be rushed to hospital but was unable to survive the severity of his injuries.
“It is with great pain that we bid farewell to Perseveranza Ncube, also known to his loved ones as Percy. She was a loving and devoted mother who lived for her children, family and friends,” said a statement written by the victim’s family and released by Greater Manchester Police.
A 45-year-old man was detained a few hours later. It appears that the crime occurred against the backdrop of domestic violence and was a targeted attack.
Local police are continuing to investigate the case to understand the chronology of events.
