The Spanish Socialists (PSOE) concluded this Friday with the Basque Nationalist Party (PNV) the agreement necessary to guarantee the reappointment of Pedro Sánchez as Prime Minister. The PSOE needed 176 deputies, and in the end 179 of the 350 deputies entered the Congress. Protests against Sánchez’s pardon of separatists were constant. Just yesterday, thousands of people took to the streets of Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Granada and other cities to challenge the agreement. Dozens of people were detained.
