A five-year-old girl saved the lives of her younger siblings after her parents were killed in a car accident over Christmas in Australia. The children were trapped inside a car that reached 30 degrees for 55 hours.
Jake Day, 28, and Cindy Braddock, 25, couldn’t resist the brutal crash they were in. After the car rolled over, the couple’s eldest daughter managed to unbuckle her one-year-old brother’s seat belt. The boy managed to free himself from the seat without standing upside down. It is believed that the girl’s courage helped save the baby’s life. The two-year-old middle brother also survived the crash.
According to the newspaper Independent, the wreckage was recovered two days after the crash and three dehydrated children were taken to Perth Children’s Hospital.
The family had left Perth and were going to Kondinin, where the family was from, to celebrate Christmas.
