A statement from the Ministry of Health indicated that this Wednesday the negotiation process for the creation of the Medical Auxiliary Technician career, which covers all professionals performing functions in organizations integrated into the National Health Service, regardless of contract mode, concluded. and which “represents increases in cost to covered workers” as well as “benefits to SNS.”
According to MS, moving to a TAS career results in a salary increase of approximately €100 per month, representing a 13% increase, with the base salary for the career now placed at level six of the single salary table. whose remuneration in 2024 will be 869.74 euros.
“Thanks to this measure, which covers about 24 thousand workers performing functions in the health sector, in addition to benefiting the system, the role of these workers in the functioning of health services and in the provision of medical care is increased. population,” says the MS, specifying that the diploma comes into force on January 1, 2024.
