Two young women of approximately 25 years old claim that they were approached and chased this Thursday, around 23:00, next to IPAM, on Rua Manuel Pinto de Azevedo in Porto.
Girls who attend the master’s program at the educational institution in the evening complain that when they were leaving classes, a man of about 30 approached them in the car. “When I saw him, I locked the doors, and this man rudely insisted that we open them . When we did not do this and ignored him, he began to surround the car, threatening us and insisting that we open the doors,” one of the young men.
According to her, the man behaved in the same way with two other young women who were a few meters ahead, who in the meantime were also leaving classes.
After this approach, two students managed to escape from the scene, but the man pursued them to the Fosa area. “While the chase was going on, we contacted the Fos police, where we decided to head. As soon as the man realized that we were near the police station, he changed his route and disappeared,” he said.
CM PSP source explained that the young women went to the police station and told what allegedly happened. However, according to the same source, after explaining the relevant legal formalities and in the presence of the father of one of them, they did not file a complaint.
