Dozens of Democratic congressmen this Thursday asked the government of the United States of America (USA), chaired by Joe Biden, to revoke a diplomatic visa or any permit that former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro needs to be on US soil.
In the letter, the 46 Democratic congressmen also demanded that the executive branch investigate any action that could be taken in the US to help or coordinate the invasion of the Brazilian Tri-Power buildings that took place on Sunday in Brasilia by supporters of Jair. Bolsonaro.
“We must not allow Bolsonaro or any other former Brazilian official to seek asylum in the United States to escape justice for crimes they may have committed in Brazil,” the congressmen wrote in the letter.
