The launch of North Korea’s first “spy” satellite raises many doubts about its real success, but also fears that Pyongyang has risen to a new level thanks to Russian technology and in exchange for weapons.
After two launch failures earlier this year, North Korea said it successfully launched its military spy satellite Mulligyong-1 into orbit on November 21, but it needs time to test whether it works properly.
“The Chollima-1 space rocket flew normally along a given trajectory and accurately placed the Mulligyong-1 satellite into orbit (…) 705 seconds. [quase 12 minutos] after launch,” North Korea’s state news agency KCNA reported.
