According to a note published this Friday on the Presidential website, the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, promulgated changes to the statutes of the Orders of Physiotherapists and Technical Engineers.
The announcement comes after the head of state heard from the chairmen of these two professional orders about the changes contained in the diploma.
In October, Parliament approved changes to the statutes of professional orders in a final global vote, voted in favor by a majority of the Socialist bench.
The final text, presented by the Committees on Constitutional Affairs, Rights, Freedoms and Guarantees, Health and Labour, Social Security and Inclusion, changes the legal regime for the creation and functioning of 20 professional orders.
The diploma changes the statutes of associations of lawyers, architects, doctors, dentists, veterinarians, engineers, technical engineers, nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists, economists, notaries, lawyers and bailiffs, auditors, certified accountants, biologists, psychologists, officials. dispatchers, social workers and nutritionists.
