Unresolved matters or old arguments may have led to a pursuit onto the A33 and onto the IC21, ultimately resulting in two accidents involving three vehicles. The cause of at least one shot that struck one of the vehicles is under investigation. The driver of this car reportedly drove several kilometers in the wrong direction to escape the armed men.
The alarm was received by GNR at 15:27 on the 28th. On number 112, a man reported that he was being chased by armed men in two cars along the A33 motorway in the direction of Coyna-Montijo. One walked ahead, not allowing him to overtake, and the other followed him, chasing him.
According to a GNR source, several resources were called to the Santo António da Charneca, Barreiro area and two women and five men were identified as allegedly involved in the situation, which culminated in two incidents. Since an ammunition hole was found in one of the vehicles, the judicial police were called.
This situation led to several videos that were published on social networks. You can’t see the car going in the wrong direction. In another case, the victim’s wife reports her husband being stalked. He said this continued for eight minutes until he abandoned the car and fled on foot through the bushes. The recording ends with a picture of a man on a roof, where he climbed to avoid being bitten by dogs in the area he crossed.
