The price of medicines will no longer be required to be indicated on the packaging, according to a decree-law approved this Thursday by the Council of Ministers and aimed at reducing contextual costs.
The Decree-Law changes the legal regimes for drugs for human use and pharmacies, and is intended to ensure transparency of information and guarantee “compliance with pricing rules applicable to all participants in the drug market.”
The goal, according to the diploma, is to ensure that “information on the public sale price of drugs continues to be provided to the consumer at the time of dispensing from manufacturer pharmacies.”
