In a car accident this afternoon on the A4 motorway in the direction of Amarante – Porto in Paredes, four young people were injured, two of them in serious condition.
The victims, two seriously wounded and two slightly wounded, were taken to the hospital. One of the seriously injured was a young woman who was seven months pregnant. ABOUT CM knows that one of the victims was the target of evacuation maneuvers.
Two victims were taken to the Padre America Hospital in Penafiel, while a young pregnant woman and another victim were taken to the Santo Antonio Hospital in Porto.
The driver of the car, an 18-year-old man, suffered minor injuries.
The alarm was raised at 2:12 p.m. and the Paredes Fire Department was called to the scene.
