The US Air Force has taken disciplinary action against 15 workers over the leak of sensitive military information allegedly made by Air National Guard soldier Jack Teixeira, the Army said this Monday, Reuters reported.
“Actions range from the removal of personnel from positions, including command, to non-judicial punishment under Article 15 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice,” the Air Force said in a statement.
Prosecutors allege Teixeira leaked confidential documents to a group of players on the messaging app Discord. The leak is considered the worst breach of US national security since more than 700,000 documents, videos and diplomatic cables emerged on the WikiLeaks website in 2010.
