PSP and GNR strengthen borders during Christmas and New Year holidays

In addition to policing and enhanced road control, PSP and GNR will increase their presence at airports, land and sea borders. Particular attention will be paid to the prevention of criminal offenses, namely home robberies caused by the absence of owners. On the roads, the priority in areas controlled by the PSP and GNR will be to combat risky behavior such as speeding, dangerous overtaking or using a mobile phone while driving. Main routes in and out of major city centers will be more closely monitored for departures and returns over Christmas and New Year.
