Two brutal attacks marked the end of Thursday night in the Lisbon capital region. In the capital’s Arroios district, a 45-year-old man was stabbed and left unconscious on a public road at 11:50 p.m. It was a passerby who called PSP and INEM on 112 and stated that he had found an unconscious man lying on the public road on Rua Carlos José Barreiros. INEM stabilized the victim and transported him to the San Jose Hospital as seriously injured.
That same night, at 10:30 p.m., on Avenida General Humberto Delgado, Amadora, a PSP patrol heard the sound of at least one gunshot. The victim, a 28-year-old man, was conscious and described the attackers’ car. He was treated by firefighters and taken to hospital. The police seized a knife with traces of blood. The case was transferred to the judicial police.
