“Dozens of wounded people are arriving at Conakry’s two main hospitals, Ignace Ding and Donka,” Dr. Mamaduba Sylla, a surgeon working at the Donka hospital, told AFP.

In a statement, the government said it did not yet know the cause of the fire and added it would launch an investigation.
