This Friday, a corpse was found lying in bed in a house in County Cork, Ireland. According to the state of decomposition of the body, the police believe that death occurred 20 years ago.
According to the newspaper irish mirror, in addition to the state of decomposition of the skeleton, there were some items with a very outdated date. Butter with an expiration date of 2001 was found in the refrigerator.
Investigators cordoned off the house and emergency services took the remains to Cork University Hospital. It has not yet been possible to determine the sex and identity of the corpse.
So far, there are no signs of a crime. Judging by what the British newspaper found, the neighbors did not suspect anything.
“It’s very sad that someone didn’t let this man through and ask if everything is all right,” one of the officers commented.
