Authorities were alerted to a fire at Blackpool Tower, a historic structure in Blackpool, England.
After several fire engines were called to the scene and some concerns were raised, authorities learned that the suspected fire was just orange netting.

The English press began by reporting that a suspected flame was discovered at 2:15 p.m. in a metal area near the tower.
Firefighters even asked people to stay away from the area and not fly drones “so as not to interfere with emergency operations.”
While people reported that the “flames” seemed to have “diminished,” police eventually discovered that it was all just fear.
Local residents who expressed regret over the incident can now breathe a sigh of relief.
“This is iconic infrastructure for the city, as you can see from the people gathered here,” a member of the public said, before learning the structure was not under threat. BBC.
Blackpool Tower opened to the public in 1894 and is 158 meters high. It is located near the beach, in the English town that gives the tower its name.
At the time of its opening it was the tallest man-made structure in the British Empire. The design was inspired by Sir John Bickerstaff’s trip to Paris, which explains the resemblance to the Eiffel Tower.
