Elon Musk is the richest in the world with a fortune of 210 billion euros

The American billionaire has added $95.4 billion (more than 86 billion euros) to his fortune this year, reclaiming his top spot, according to Bloomberg’s list of the world’s 500 richest people.

According to the list, the combined global wealth of the 500 billionaires increased by $1.5 billion in 2023 (up from $1.4 billion lost last year), thanks in large part to artificial intelligence.

Elon Musk has surpassed the president of the luxury company LVMH, Bernard Arnault, by more than $50 billion. The French tycoon is second on the list with a net worth of $179 billion after adding $16.9 billion this year.

The plight of the richest comes as tech stocks hit historic market highs thanks to advances in artificial intelligence: Tech entrepreneurs’ wealth has risen 48% this year, or $658 billion, according to Click.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is third on the list with a net worth of $178 billion, adding $71.3 billion to his fortune this year.

Microsoft founder Bill Gates is the fourth richest person in the world with a net worth of $141 billion, followed by former CEO Steve Ballmer ($131 billion) and Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg ($130 billion).

L’Oreal heiress Francoise Bettencourt Meyers (12th) is the richest woman on the planet and the first to be worth twelve figures ($100 billion). His fortune has increased by 40% this year after L’Oreal shares hit an all-time high.

As for nationalities, in a list dominated by the US, Mexican Carlos Slim stands out at the top as the richest in Latin America (number 11, with a net worth of $104 billion), followed by Spaniard Amancio Ortega (14th, with $87 billion) . 0.6 billion).
