Carlos Henrique Medeiros, a Brazilian influencer with more than a million subscribers on YouTube, was found dead in the backyard of a house in Itapecerica. The 26-year-old has been missing since Christmas after planning to spend the holidays at a friend’s house.
The wife with whom the content author had dinner was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder.
According to the portal G1The suspects, ages 24 and 28, told police Carlos suffered a heart attack after taking drugs. Because they were desperate about the situation, they decided to bury their friend instead of calling the police and emergency services.
Carlos’ body was found on December 31st and the case was initially filed as murder. An investigation is currently underway to determine whether the young man was murdered or died from an overdose.
Authorities are still investigating whether the influential man had sexual intercourse with a teenager who was in the house. The girl will be the sister of the owner of the house and will wait for her father.
The young woman and her father are being sought to come forward and help clarify what may have happened to the YouTuber.
