Preventive arrest of a man who forced a woman into prostitution at home

A man who forced his partner to sell her body at home in Oliveira de Azemeis and was detained by Porto police has been placed in preventive detention. Accused of rape, pimping and debauchery in private life, the suspect was present this Friday for his first interrogation at the Santa Maria da Feira court.

While serving a suspended sentence for domestic violence against his estranged minor daughter, the 34-year-old unemployed man was regularly visited by a social reintegration specialist. During a recent visit, the attacker’s partner appeared disturbed and said the man forced her to sell her body for sex at the house where they both lived in Oliveira de Azemeis. The victim was taken to the PNP and the Porto judicial police were called, who detained the suspect.

Since March last year, a man described as aggressive has posted advertisements on the sex dating website Rua 69 with intimate photographs of his partner, advertising sexual services without the woman’s knowledge. And it was he who organized everything with clients, sending them to meetings at the couple’s house and receiving payments. The victim engaged in sexual acts because she was afraid that her partner would attack her again – the woman told authorities that her partner had assaulted her several times.

Unemployed and with no income, the aggressor and victim have at least three children. The sexual services eventually brought some profit, but the man forced the woman into prostitution.
