Three men who showed what victims described as firearms (a weapon similar to an assault rifle can be seen in CCTV footage) robbed the Liberdade Atlético Clube in Campolide, Lisbon, on Thursday evening, confirmed CM official source of PSP Lisbon. They made off with the safe, which had only a “residual value.”
The alert was received by PSP at 10:50 p.m. According to the PSP complaint, which matches CCTV footage seen by CM Having access, the attackers entered the public cafe wearing hoods, and one of them with what was believed to be a machine gun, whether it was real or not is unknown.
One went to the locker to retrieve the safe and 40 seconds later they exited through the same door they entered through, to the horrified looks of some customers. One of the robbers even threatened to throw a safe at one of the witnesses and allegedly stole the coat of a young man who was there.
The SP was called in to investigate.
