The Brazilian President confirmed that Nicolás Maduro had canceled a bilateral meeting scheduled for this Monday, that he could not travel to Argentina for the Latin American summit, and that no one should interfere in the affairs of Venezuela or Cuba.
“Today at 16:00 I had a meeting. [19h00 em Lisboa]but I was told that maybe he [Nicolás Maduro] don’t come. Then it will be somewhere else. Maybe at the next (summit) Maduro will come? ”Luis Inacio Lula da Silva complained during a press conference at Casa Rosada, the headquarters of the Argentine government.
Lula da Silva spoke alongside Argentine President Alberto Fernandez following a bilateral meeting in which the two governments signed six documents, including agreements, memorandums and declarations.
