According to Civil Protection, a fire broke out this Sunday afternoon at the TE Connectivity plant in Évora, which produces electronic components for the automotive industry.
The fire occurred in a waste warehouse where flammable materials such as glue, alcohol, rubber and plastic were stored.
The alarm was raised at 17:18 and 46 firefighters from Évora, supported by 18 vehicles, were mobilized to extinguish the fire.
The main task was to prevent a fire in the warehouse, since there is a fuel pump next to the plant.
The fire is consolidated, but it is necessary to remove all materials from the warehouse to extinguish it.
