In just 14 days (from the 10th to the 24th of this month), a 45-year-old man was detained by the police three times for driving a car without valid insurance. The latest situation occurred on Wednesday morning on Avenida Vasco da Gama in Porto. He was charged with a third offense of insubordination.
The man was constantly caught at traffic police checks. He was first detained on the 10th in Porto. He was detained and released. Authorities then confiscated his car and appointed his 42-year-old partner as the car’s faithful custodian.
Last Monday he was caught again for the same crime, and two days later, on Wednesday, he was arrested again, as was his wife, the faithful custodian of the car. Also for the crime of disobedience.
