On Tuesday, actors Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams announced the nominees for this year’s Oscars. The ceremony will take place on March 12 (dawn on the 13th in Portugal) at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles, USA.
Ice Marchants, a Portuguese short film by João González, was nominated in the Animated Short Film category. This is the first time that a Portuguese film has been nominated for an Oscar.
