A PSP agent was injured after the patrol car he was riding in suffered a violent rear-end collision on Friday evening on Rua do Campinho in Porto. The policeman was taken to Santo Antonio Hospital. I had pain in the neck area caused by flying forward (after an impact) and immediately fastening the seat belt.
Everything happened at 21:30. A patrol car on duty in the center of Porto stopped at a pedestrian crossing to let pedestrians through. Suddenly, a car coming from behind collided with a police car.
After the collision, the uninjured police officer identified the driver who caused the accident, who was drunk. When tested for alcohol in his blood, a criminal level of 1.5 g/l was found, which led to his arrest.
