Early this Sunday morning, the Vila Nova de Famalicão sports center was vandalized by a group of hooded men. The suspects threw stones and broke glass windows, damaging the interior of the premises. The hooded men also left several offensive messages on the glass.
The alarm was raised around 2 am. Those in charge of the Center contacted PSP. However, due to a lack of personnel to travel to the site, participation will have to be documented by management and carried out at the police station. There were no reports of injuries.
On Saturday, the Portuguese Professional Football League announced the postponement of the match between Famalican and Sporting for the 20th round of the league, given the sick leave taken by 13 of the 15 scheduled PSP agents. As a result of incidents between fans near the municipal stadium “22 June” with throwing chairs, stones and bottles, six people were injured.
