Three suspects were arrested for stabbing a man to death on Tuesday on Rua Boca Lara, in front of the Jardim José Alvaro Vidal municipal building in Alverque.
The alarm came at 15:40.
The victim, 19 years old, got involved in a riot with a group of men out of passion. He was stabbed several times and left to die on the floor.
“When we arrived, he was in cardiopulmonary arrest. Death was confirmed by the Vila Franca de Xira medical vehicle team,” he explained CM Commander Alberto Fernandez from the Alverca fire department.
The suspects fled but were apprehended by authorities.
At the scene of the incident, according to the PSP, five bladed weapons were seized, as well as three mobile phones, which are now being examined.
Those detained, aged 19, 22 and 24, will appear in court this Wednesday.
The investigation of the crime is carried out by the judicial police.
