PS wants the government to help families who have bank loans to buy a house and are having difficulty paying the installments. This promise is contained in the socialist electoral program for the March 10 legislative elections and was presented this Sunday in Lisbon by the party’s general secretary, Pedro Nuno Santos.
The AD leader promised “less taxes on families and youth”, as well as cuts to the IRS at all levels except the last. “We want to make sure we actually have a middle class,” he said. In health, the coalition wants to introduce an emergency “social media rescue” program, a family doctor for all Portuguese by 2025 and automatic surgical screening.
