It was a blessed carnival in different parts of the country with colors contrasting with the cloudy skies. The rain continued unabated, but nothing stopped thousands of revelers from taking to the streets to celebrate the festive occasion in various parades from the north to the south of the country. This Tuesday, hundreds of revelers faced incessant rain. throughout the parade in Figueira da Foz, to respect the tradition of the usual corso. Also in Torres Vedras, the rain did not deter the thousands of people accompanying the platforms, cabecudas and matrafons. An identical scenario occurred in Sesimbra and Mealhada, where a wet parade took place from various samba schools who spread joy, color and good humor through Brazilian rhythms. Regular parades also took place in Cabanas de Viriato, Sines, Loula and Madeira.
