One person was killed and 21 others were injured Wednesday in a shooting during the parade of the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, according to a report. New York Post. Eight children were among the victims. Three suspects were detained.
The Kansas City Fire Department said eight victims were in critical condition and seven had serious injuries. Six people have stable minor injuries.
According to New York PostChaos ensued during the celebration and several police and military agents attended to the victims. Images and evidence show several people running from one side to the other, while other wounded people are being carried on stretchers.
The incident occurred in the parking lot of Union Station, Kansas City’s main train station.
