United States presidential candidate Donald Trump accused Britain’s Prince Harry of “betraying the Queen” in a speech at the Conservative Party conference on Saturday.
“I will not defend him, he betrayed the queen, this is unforgivable. He will be on his own if it depends on me,” said the former US leader, quoted by the publication. Independent.
The statements come days after Harry admitted on a television program that he was “considering” taking up American citizenship. The Briton added that he has “no idea” what’s stopping him.
Trump felt the Biden administration had been “too generous” to Harry since he moved to California with Meghan in 2020.
